USMC Hat pin
Hi I am new and thought that I would weigh in. The pin you bought is from Celtic Jackalope a company in California and they are great. He carries several clan crest badges for ninety dollars and is a good person to work with. At this time he is working on the Clan MacMillan badge for me with the sword extending outside the buckle and strap. If you are interested he can make almost any crest badge for the same price. Just search Celtic Jackalope in MSN. Also James this might be something else you would like. The company stated that it should be ready mid July. Great to see another MacMillan happy again.

Top, that's a really nice pin. Guess I'm gonna have to start looking for one now. Only problem in that you just can't replace a really well-broken in bonnet.
And ScrapScot, I hope they nail the stinkers who got your cameras.

Sorry that I did not include the website for Celtic Jackalope earlier. Here it is. Also they do have more clans in stock if you call but if they do not have they can make it.

Thanks for that, but I didn't pay anywhere near that amount. Either for the first one or for the second. Sure I want people to make a profit, but doubling the price!!!!

I understand that you won this item on ebay and thus is the reason you got a great deal. If I am not mistaken they are putting a few of their badges on ebay without reserves to get their products out in the open and create buisness. I am glad that you got such a great deal. Everywhere that I have looked for .925 silver badges they have been at least $200.00 or more and paying ninety dollars seems to be reasonable for the product especially if on the badge such as MacMillan the sword should stick outside the buckle and strap. They reasured me that this would be reenforced.

I have a badge from them, and it's really lovely. They're more expensive than the usual run of clan badges because they're silver, but I think they're worth the price. They do sell on ebay, as well, so you can get a bit of a discount bidding instead of buying direct.
Congratulations on getting your replacement pin. Wear it proudly! (As I'm sure you will!).
