I firmly believe that you are what you celebrate, regardless of blood heritage. Descendent wise I have Scottish and Native blood..( the Wagner name comes from a step dad that adopted me ) but when someone asks me about heritage I simply tell them Canadian, and then tell them that I wear kilts because I enjoy them rather then out of a feeling of historical duty.
Not trying to stir the pot here folks, just my opinion. Everyone is valid in whatever their feelings of heritage and follow there of as far as that goes.
