I've seen the mix of casual with a formal sporran, and quite like it. This is my first attempt:

A friend said it looked very punk, hence the angsty-face.

I really like this picture. It just goes to show that even in bad conditions on a muddy winters day, a man in a kilt still looks great!

Just came back from a quick stroll down the river with my 3 beagles. Made it in time before the rain opened up on us!
Wife was with a friend and I asked her to snap a pic of me to show my current 'casual' outfit, but as you can see, the effect of having a friend around caused her to forget to focus before snapping!
So in any event, here it is, self made kilt with a nice Hancock Fabrics material (unknown), self made 2" webbing adjustable belt and self made 'sporran' with belt hangers (simple camera bag and the hangers are 2 small dog nylon webbing collars)
That's all i got today.

As you are carrying a hunting whip, can one assume that the hounds are not too far away?

Here's me and my sister at my grandmother's for a family dinner this past saturday night. I wanted to show off my new SWK Irish National, and I was a lil casual with just the yellow oxford with it.
