I think for the most part I've learned to be comfortable with my arms casually at my sides. I guess arms crossed is my fall-back position.

Hey neighbor, you're about the same place in Utah that I am in Arizona. Way up there.

My dad was stationed at Hill Field after he was rotated back from North Africa. Folks got married in Ogden and stayed at that big hotel (Washington?) was up that way five years ago. Pretty country. Needs more kilts though.

Most cool to see LDS men coming to kilts as part of their genealogy findings....don't know if you are, not asking, just remarking in general how cool it is to see like LDS bagpipe bands and LDS sponsoring bagpipe performances.

When I don't have one of my sons in my arms, I am a "thumbs in belt" guy!

I guess it's never been an issue with me. Being in a military family, hands in pockets is kind of not an option 99% of the time.

I tend to keep one arm on my fiance and another on my beer/whiskey/scotch.

The LDS church has one of the best geneology sites out there, I wouldnt be surprised if I did show up to church once and they could tell I was wearing the wrong kilt.
I am a stay at home and make/drink beer guy.
Beowulf, my wife use to tell me "you use to look at me like that" if I check out another woman, but now if I look at her like that I get in trouble. Women are weird.

So, I now hook my thumbs on the tops of my belt near the buckle.

So if you carry a Clip Board and seem to make notes and consult your watch? that would give you something to do with your hands.

Most of the time I stand "at ease" or with my thumbs in my belt. A good walking stick is always nice when you can have one.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
