It was a nice day and the Highland game kicked started my weekend with a few beers. The scotch egg and Curry Chicken Pie were good with my beer. I watched the hammer and stone throwing for a little while.

Well I DID look for ya, but my efforts were somewhat stymied by your description of yourself as being the "big man in the kilt".
My wife took a couple of pics of me but for some reason they didn't turn out!

Huh. Was there all day, don't think I saw anyone else I recognized... that being said, I was only in the fairgrounds for the 12:30 whisky tasting, to grab some IrnBru, and a quick once-over of the shops.
The rest of the day was out inside the Heavy Games compound (my best friend that was competing told them I was family... brought the digital SLR and tripod for photos). Was interesting that you could watch the games for free this year, as it was held outside the actual admission area!
