mr. charlie, it gets pretty hot here in new mexico, the 11oz. is great, i'm more into comfort than tradition, but if you prefer something heavier, alexis will do a hillwalker in 13oz. and quite possibly in a 16 oz. of coarse there would be an additional charge as 13 and 16 oz costs more. give her a call shes great to work with.

Very nice looking kilt. The Brown Watch is quite nice, first time I had seen it.

A sharp looking tartan for sure. I have accessories from Alexis but no kilts yet. And thanks for the website link, she's really improved it. Now I'm lusting over a custom Prince Charlie without the import hassles.

I keep looking at your kilt pics and if my monitor is reasonably true with the colors I'm guessing the Brown Watch would look very very sharp with a pair of the Lewis kilt hose in brown from STM. The two browns "seem" to be very similar. At least the real life brown Lewis hose I can look at and the brown that shows on my monitor.

Alexis will do the 5 yard "hill walker" in 16 oz., and even hand-sew it for extra bucks. I have one in US Army coming in August...!
