Doesn't offend just seems an impossible option for anyone to choose nowadays.

Male Soprano/Falsetto would have been a better one but I guess it does have an amusement value and also cause certain items to withdraw into the body as so often happens when sensing danger.

True, true. I'm having a bit of trouble with "Sighing Softly" for Pirates of Penzance - I have to sing first tenor (bloody high D). I know exactly what you mean .

I even play the bass guitar... it is not a casuality!
What els could I be if not a bass baritone? LOL!!
I love the lowest notes, the slow vibration of the low frequency, that let you move all the inner body... wow! bass is sexy! LOL!

    I would say so.

"If With All Your Heart" suddenly sprang to my mind. You did turn a funny shade of red when singing it though.

Spoken for me. Either that, or mumbling, like Beck... ;-)

He sounded like his great grandfather Cunningham who was a high tenor soloist, and sang in barbershop quartets and he made his Grandmother Bishop cry because of the fond memories she had of her daddy when he sang.

Tenor here. I spent the last three years of high school in the choir and took vocal lessons, music theory and music mechanics. I played the trombone in marching band, bassoon in concert band, and bass guitar in the jazz band. I also taught myself to play the acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, and piano (bluegrass is my favorite).

    I've always loved music.

I voted alto, though I can get down into a decent baritone range. It's been ages since I've sung with a group, and most the time can't decide whether I can sing or not (which I think means 'not').

I sang opera when I was in college for a couple of years and I have to say that the really nice thing about being a bass is that you tend to get the most interesting roles. If you are familiar with it I sang the part of the Duke\Hades in Orfeo and the bass part for the people that walked in darkness for Handels messiah. those were both fun and challenging.

I hope that my range is just out of earshot to those around me
