hybrid hunting sporran

I've always liked hunting sporrans and after seeing the Britt sporrans that Matt Newsome is selling
I combined what I liked best of the two styles and came up with this

size is 7.5 inches x 9.5 inches with 3 inch gusset

back

the opening is plenty large

Sporran is made of black deer skin
front and back is lined with cream colored elk

Very nice. How do you like the back opening strap? Does the medallion serve any purpose other than decorative? Thought it was the clasp in the first photo, then saw the stud on the back in the second.

The medallion is decorative only.
