I've used that one a couple times - watching people thinking it through is always amusing.
Last year I went into work on my day off - kilted instead in my work uniform. Our secretary asked me what the occasion was, and I said "It's Friday." I explained about wearing a kilt everyday afterwards.
Three weeks pass - I go in to work on my day off again. I'm talking with a supervisor when our secretary comes in. She says "What's the occasion - oh,wait - It's Friday!" The three of us all had a laugh at that.
Skip ahead a couple of months - in to work on a day off again. I've finished talking with the supervisor and secretary, and getting ready to head out the door when two other co-workers walk in. One, in a loud confused voice, blurts out "Why are you wearing that?" The secretary, bless her, looked him in the eye and deadpanned "Well, it's Friday of course."
