Welcome to the forum. If you're after making your own, the Xkilt would be a good start to learn from. I'm in the process of making my own. A few words of advice, get cheap but decent fabric for the first few tries, maybe for the first 5 tries. You will likely mess up on the first, and maybe second and third. 5-6 yards may be decent, better to have too much than too little.
If you are looking more for something to buy and need it now kinda deal, I've heard a lot of good things about Utilikilt. They have a worker kilt that sounds like what you would be looking for.
