    I wish I had a clue. I found the pic with the caption weathered Fletcher somewhere...that's lost in the ozone. Thinking maybe on a clan Fletcher website, gotta go check. And of course no way to have it woven up without the thread count.

    A real tease this one.

    Wouldn't the thread count be the same as a modern or ancient Fletcher? Just different colors?

    Aye, but what shade/hue etc...want it to look good like the sorta swatch...and not sure which of the Fletcher tartans this is from the small swatch...no clue why this is soooo elusive...coyote's all over me here.

    That Fletcher tartan, from comparison, is Flether of Dunans. ITI #272.

    And, as stated, the thread count will be the same, regardless of the "hue."

    And doesn't DC Daglish sort of specialize in "reproduction" (aka weathered) tartans? And of course DCD is the mill that produces custom weaves in single kilt lengths...
