    "Where's the respect?"

    A very good question, the Moderators often ask that amongst themselves.

    I put it to you that the vast majority of people on X Marks the Scot are true gentlemen and ladies. We are by and large a polite, friendly, helpful, and positive group. Given the anonymity aqfforded by the internet that is no small thing. There are truely insensitve or mean folks that enjoy stirring up trouble out there and we try our best to step in and deal with them. Sometimes withi a gentle nudge on the open forum and sometimes we deal with them officialy in private. More challenging are the few people here on XMTS, that though they may have some very valid and thoughtful points, communicate poorly.

    Don't let a few negative posters sour your view about this community. I am very proud to be a member of this group.

    Respect is an important part of what XMTS is and something to keep in mind when posting. I wrote this a while back but I think it is valid:
