I don't know, Sarge. These days of having "Green" shoved down our throats, I hear hybrid, I think of hideously ugly little cars. Okay, so not all of them are ugly, but I think you see where I am coming from. I don't want my kilt to have an EPA label on how many compliments per gallon of stout it comes from the mill with int:

All I saw was "gallons" of stout. If my kilt comes with gallons of stout, you can put any label on it that you want!! int:

Actually Phil there is a name for a modern, 8 yard, machine sewn kilt in modern fabrics that has many of the features of a Traditional Kilt. And can include pockets.
It is called a Contemporary Kilt. I began to use that name to describe the type of kilt I make. I'm not positive but I think I am the one who first used that term. I even wrote a tutorial explaining the terminology and it is posted here in the articles section.
