I am repulsed, yet attracted to this thread.
One one hand, I am impressed with one persons ingenuity and creativeness, on the other hand:
As terribly warm as it is currently, finding road-killed snakes is difficult at best
This, this, is just creeeeepy! 
Seeing the snake in the hose makes one wonder even more what's under the kilt.
Oh, and can I have one of these:
