The problem is mostly the leftmost bottom edge of the front apron wanting to curl up As a sew-er, I have encountered instances where the side seams of skirts want to curl up, but only on one side, or where one collar wants to curl up while the other lies flat. Turns out that there was a simple solution for my issues that might also help you. Directional sewing. You may have to sew the pleats all in one direction (from bottom to top) or sew one seam in one direction and the opposite way on the other side. Anyway, I know that directional sewing helps other garment sewing, this tip might work for the apron.
