TheSp8, that some nice ink. Scotchmaster, I'm always happy to post mine, but if you use the search feature, you'll find quite a few tattoo threads.

 Best regards,

Sorry, but I've always thought of a tattoo as a very personal decision that really shouldn't be influenced by anyone else, regarding either design or location. If you don't know what you want to get or where you want to get it, then you should question the necessity to get a(nother) tattoo.
I would offer you one piece of sound advice, though. Once you figure out what you think you want, print it out at full-size (take the image to a tattoo parlor to find out how big it needs to be - a lot of people will pick a design with a lot of detail and that can sometimes mean the tattoo will need to be larger than they think).

Once you have it printed out, stick it someplace where you will see it every single day (your cube wall at work, the mirror in your bathroom, etc.). Look at it for a year. If, after a whole year of looking at it, you're not tired of it, and you still love it, then go ahead and get it.

I know that goes against the "gotta have it now" mentality so prevalent in American society today, but that's a really good way to make sure you don't end up with bad ink. One thing you don't want to regret is a tattoo.

Oh, and then when you go to get it done, go to someone good; don't go to the cheapest place you can find. After all, you're gettin' something done that will be there for a long time.

I could not have said it better. Very sound advice. I waited many years before I actually started the Bee Project.

I got all of my ink in prison....would like to give a shout out to Lil Larry from cell block E for doin the "Murda 4 Life" tat on my stomach.
SIKE! I actually am quite picky about who does my work. My long time tattoo artist left his shop and stopped tattooing for a bit so I was looking for a new artist and came across Zach Spurlock at Anonymous tattoo in Savannah. He does really good work!

There have been a few tattoo threads already. Here are my tattoos at the moment. I am currently working on the Pictish sleeve, a green man tattoo and a Luckenbooth tattoo. (I'll be posting my design for that when I am done with it.)

I'm REALLY careful about what I get tattooed, though. I like to take time once I find something I like, make it my own design of what I want and then plan it out before I get it.
Hope some of the pictures on this thread will inspire you.

Clan crest on my right bicep. (I got it when I was 17 and it needs some work done. I'm going to be adding a buckler to it and getting it neatened up.)

A Celtic-style griffin on my lower back.

A Celtic-style hound on my left forearm.

Pictish Salmon, Boar, Stag and Celtic/Pictish Triskelon on my right forearm. (This is being worked into a half sleeve over time.)

A Celtic-style falcon on my left calf.
