Places NOT to wear a kilt!

Mang1974 went to the festival in Chicago last fall and sent me some pictures. One of them showed a rock-climbing wall in the background...

My wife noticed that and breathed a sigh of relief that we weren't there. She knows it wouldn't have taken much of a bet to get me climbing it in a kilt.

I don't wear a kilt if I'm out cruising around in my '27 Essex street rod. It has suicide doors and try as I might, I haven't found a way to gracefully get in or out of it without flashing everyone around.

I don't like wearing a kilt to anything where I'll be sitting for hours at a time: movies, ballgames, long car rides, etc....

Three come immediately to mind:

1) Anything involving being up on a step ladder,
2) Putting shingles on a roof, and
3) Working under cars.

It is not that I am suggesting that you should not be buried kilted. I just don't plan to ever be at my own funeral.
