Half-way through my first day as the kilted zookeeper and all's well so far. Very, very comfortable (of course). I'm still a little nervous about treating the kilt well, trying to keep it as clean as I can in this particular job, not wanting to scuff or damage it, etc. But I'm slowly get over that. However I think if this gets approved for me to wear on a regular basis I'll actually get a Workman's model and save this Survival one for wearing out in the "real world".

Still have yet to cross paths with the boss that dared me to wear this to work in the first place, but have gotten positive remarks from zoo visitors and coworkers, one of whom has already expressed an interest in joining the revolution... handed out my first UK business card.

Bossman finally came by and thought the kilt looked great. He's going to try and get HIS boss to approve it as an official uniform option!
