    I learned the hard way, never wear a good kilt to a place where there's alot of smokers. Try getting the smell of cigarette smoke out of a standard SWK.

    Wear not to wear a kilt? Hmmm. Being retired from the Military and a Fire department two places come to mind.

    The Modern Battlefield and at a fire while wearing full Bunker Gear.

    In a small helicopter (like a Schweizer 300 CBi), there's no gentlemanly way to get in and over the control stick (or for that matter sit comfortably without showing too much even though the ground is 700 feet below).


    CT - I mean we're close friends but he doesn't need to see that either

    I agree. To me that is reason enough to wear a kilt. Driving is no longer a pain (literally! ). For long distances I wouldn't wear a wool kilt, but a PV kilt is perfect for that.
