Congratulations Glen. I am not a fan of diced hose as many already know but, what an improvement over your previous ensemble featuring the red/white diced hose! To my mind, they stand a chance of working only when there is a lot of red in the kilt, and you're not going to find much more red than you have there. Well done.

[PS: I just do not 'get' the photo of the young guy and your caption! Is this a reference to something very North American, or have I missed something elsewhere?]

Very, very well put together. As I have said elsewhere, I am a fan of diced hose with more formal kit, I like diced hose much better than white or cream hose for formal occasions. Do you have room on the belt for a sword frog? A sword is the only possible addition to your perfect ensemble.

From the movie Zoolander That is Ben Stiller, the movie is about two not so bright supper male models. Sort of a cult movie.

Glenn, looks like you had your best foot forward in the doublet. Looks good on you. I have never seen one of these in person, only in photos--it seems to fit very high around the neck, almost up to the chin. Reminds me of a formal turtleneck.

Sorry about the criptic reference Ham, it has to do with a comedy film that came out in about 2001 about a male model named Derek Zoolander, he is the top male model in the world however he only has one look dubbed "Blue Steel". Therefore when Colin asked to see Blue Steel this all came flooding back into my mind and I thought I would add the photo of Ben Stiller as Derek Zoolander along with a silly quote from the character.
