I second (or third, or however) the welcome. Leather punches with various size holes can be had from craft stores such as Michales, Hobby Lobby, etc. They are handy for lots of stuff! I actually wound up shortening my leather strap! (ordered one for a 40" waist, mine is 37-38), and even in the smallest setting it is still way too long (and I'm 6'5"). I also bought a pkg of two part hollow rivits, and just cut off the too long parts and re-riveted them. I like the post about being able to reach it comfortably and keeping the kilt down in a stiff breeze. Sounds like good guidelines to me
