After Action report

On Saturday, August, 30th at 1:15pm, the Kilted Trooper Brigade, inducted Mr. Ray Park as their Honorary Leader.

The Brigade’s Chieftain, Joseph Schönberger (TK-3699) presented Ray with an award that featured the group’s Clan Crest, Ray’s name and rank (Honorary Leader), and the quote; “At last we have our revenge!”, 2008.

After the presentation and acceptance by Ray, Joe then announced that in order for Ray to be a proper leader of the Kilted Trooper Brigade, he would need a kilt in the Clan’s tartan.

Three lasses from the KTB, Andrea Samulewicz (TK-4874), Cheralyn Lambeth (TK-0976), and Mary Alice Ladd (TK-8228) enthusiastically measured Ray for his kilt.

After Ray was measured, a Clan shirt and patch was given to him. Ray removed his tee-shirt, much to the join of all the females in the area and put on his KTB shirt.

To properly close the ceremony, Joe Ogulin (TK-2989) played “Scotland the Brave” on the bagpipes. Ray was speechless. He started dancing and hollering and having a great time.

Ray won a vote unanimously by the members to lead them. Ray was born in Glasgow Scotland.

Joe Ogulin (TK-2989) concludes the ceremony with the playing of "Scotland the Brave" on the pipes for Ray.

This would have been at Dragon Con in Atlanta? My kids were there, but they are Dr. Who fans more than Star Wars.

Did you also sign up for the kilt blowing event? Apparent Jenny Breeden came to it with her leaf blower and took volunteers (men in kilts) and demonstrated the usefulness of it for the lecherous kilt hunter.
