I tend to suspect my Harris to be more Cornwall, as they settled in Moonta, Sth Australia - a copper mining town, which was a Cornish enclave. When the mines gave out in Cornwall, there was a massive migration to Moonta in the 1800's. Or maybe from the border between Wales & Cornwall hence the confusion of origin. Aparrently, (according to an Aunt, now deceased) I was named Stanley John Harris after a Grandparent or male ancestor of some sort...(?)
