Celtic interest on campus
So today was the Student Activities Fair where all of the clubs and organizations on campus put up a table display and get people (mostly first years) to join. I'm founder and president of the Celtic Student Union so I was manning a table. I printed off 5 sign up sheets, but honestly thought I wouldn't even fill one of them. Nope! I got 43 people to sign up! WOW! Now, of course I'll lose some people, because everybody signs up for stuff, but not everybody actually shows up to meetings. But hey, even if I have 10 people that are truly interested in joining, I'll be ecstatic.
So yeah, I'm a happy boy. First event: Wisconsin Highland Games this weekend.

Cool. We have the same issue with Scouting, everyone signs up for an event, but the number that actually make it are always less. However with 43 signing up I'd guess you could count on 15 to 20 for your first couple of events. Glad that you have an event coming up so quickly. Nothing like getting off on the right foot. Remember, even if you only have 10 out of those 43 show up it is a great place to start from. Good luck.

Did you wear your kilt? (of course you did!) Yes, I want to know how it goes.

That's a great idea! We have over 30,000 people at my school and many kilted. I'm sure there would be some interest.
