OK, I ordered one of the Real Sgian Dubh Company's product on 28 Aug 2008: A buffalo horn damascus. It was shipped on 30 August 2008 and arrived today 9 Sep 2008. This is the RSDC's pic of what I bought as I am too lazy to upload a photo.
The knife is super and arrived within the two week deadline.
Kudos to Alastair for a very nice knife.
SG586 is still only a glint in my eye!
