In one of my other areas of passion, old cars, we speak of "twenty-foot paint jobs" -- I'm content to produce "five-foot kilts" for the moment, but aspire to the real thing. . . this is just fabulous.

    LOL...We Ride!.......but together bud.
I like this pattern much more than the Weathered....but I must admit...the Weathered would make for an astounding Great Kilt, more so than this Tartan.

You are correct. That's one of the reasons I took the close-ups to show HOW professional her work is. If I were to ever get another hand made...and God Himself came down from Heaven and said "Don't go to Barb...Go ___ instead..." I'd be battered by lightening bolts and shattered by thunderclaps because I'd tell Him where He could go.....lol.

Thanks and the sashes were something I thought I needed to do.
You see, I'm not a very emotional man and certainly don't show it. I mean, I do tell my Family I love them and my daughters, how proud I am of them - but me knowing myself, there are times I don't think they believe me. You see, working as an Officer in a Prison can make a man very cold...and I think that sometimes they get the impression that it's them (when it really isn't) and even though I tell them it isn't them...I don't think they completely understand. I explained to them that the sashes represent my desire to have EVERYONE know they are my Family, that it's my senseof pride that wants me to SHOW everyone within eyesight. They got all teary-eyed when I explained that to them.....lol.
