Annapolis, MD would be a good choice. I have very close friends who live near Annapolis so I've been there and thereabouts quite a few times. Beautiful area. You would be close to Baltimore, DC, the Virginia beaches, an hour and a half from Philly, half a days drive from New York City...

i was kilted in Annapolis last weekend.
fun place, close to DC and Baltimore and their wonderful museums.
and Killgaery (sp) outside of Annapolis has some great corn beef poppers.
