A PERFECT DAY to TEST ANTONY"S CAPE

As I was getting ready to "head for the "Mall", I looked outside & saw a PERFECT DAY, for testing my new "ultimate" Cape by Antony. It was raining with wind gusts & in the mid 50s.
So I kilted up, put on the Cape & headed out. ( I decided to walk the 1 1/2 miles instead of driving) 1. I was "bone dry" when I arrived.
 2. I was warm & comfy, with just a Wool sweater & wool shirt. The wind did not penetrate the cape, nor FLY up my KILT
  3. Because the cape is "light" in wt. it was VERY comfortable to wear.
 4. It dried out VERY fast.
 5. I also got comments on how nice it looked

ALL in All, I recommend it.

					Ahhh pics!
Very dapper. Them Ultimates are bulletproof for sure. I really like the arm strap dealies to hold the cape down in the wind....or to turn the cape into a giant wing if ya wanna soar....

I have just spent the last 4 hours in my new Ultimate walking along the canal that runs by my apartment. It was pouring with rain and apart from getting hot & sweaty going up beside a flight of locks, I remained comfortable and dry.
After a cup of tea at the top of the flight I returned home. For this part of the journey I had to have the entire thing, cape and all buttoned up because of the wind. I could have done with wearing my towelling neck scarf as the water did penetrate at that point, but that's not a fault with the Ultimate.

I will take some gloves with me next time since my hands project below the level of the cape and therefore get wet and then cold. I did keep them in the dry by clasping my arms but I can't walk fast like that.

I'm very impressed with both the quality and the performance of the cape and it's length means that the water that drips off doesn't immediately soak into my kilt as with the waterproof jacket I had before. My socks and boots do get wet, but it's only water and not uncomfortable.
