    What to wear on a COOL Fall Day

    It is a COOL fall day here in the Seattle area ( over cast & mid 40s-low 50s in Sea. ( where I am heading, it will be "high" 40s & low 40s this eve.)

    What to wear ?? ( some of the time will be outdoors :food-smiley-002

    1. KILT 20 oz "Gordon" ( as requested)
    2. Wool kilt socks w/ "soccor socks' underneath) + "Mike's Toppers"
    3. Cotton turtleneck & crew neck sweater.
    4. WOOL BLANKET shirt ( belted with a green "stable Belt"
    Note, in case it gets coler, I am also taking my "HBC blanket" CAPOTE.

    If it's outdoors, you might want to consider hiking type boots. Otherwise, a very smart look.

    Your cool is my cold... I would wear whatever I had in my closet, preferably in layers, and probably all at the same time. Floridians do not do well when it approaches freezing. I still have some of the cold weather hose and a sweater that I wear traveling and when I lived in Ohio.

    Looks good. The blanket shirt is a supremely comfy garment. I have one from Empire Canvas Works.

    The only thing that I'd change is to get rid of the cotton. I like a poly-pro long sleeve shirt topped by a micro-fleece. You can roll the sleeves up to cool down then rteverse the process when the climes change.
