Yes there's a taper to the apron. What you see there is the back of the next pleat. This tendency is continued in the back especially in the middle. I thought I would also mention this to ken when I send the kilt back.

That sounds like a major problem, Tommy, so I think you should go ahead and bring it up with them. Since you have pictures, that might be a good thing to send to them too, if you haven't already.

Yeah I sent the pic you see here to Houston as well as one other but I haven't mentioned the back pleats. I will in my note I'll attach to the kilt.
