					In the Irish rebellion of 1798, the French handed out green cockades to be worn by the rebels. And people wonder why the English and the French don't like eachother?  Apologies, DWFII, for not reading the ebay entry first before responding. Given that the item on ebay is a reproduction of a French Revolution-era cockade, I would say it wouldn't be appropriate for a Scots bonnet -- the one Brian quoted is much better, INMHO.
