I was going to go with my nickname that had been given to me in High School, Col. Chubbs, and decided that I needed something a little more appropriate to the forum. I decided on my last name and then the tribe organization that I belong to, The Tribe of Mar.

Celtic Cowboy: Well the Celtic part is of course out of pride of my Celtic heritiage, and the Cowboy part is just me. I have always marched to the beat of my own drummer, blazed my own trail. Also as some of you know I am also a pro-wrestler and my ring name is "The New Age Cowboy", which I plan on changing to "The Celtic Cowboy" some time next year as I mold my two characters I use into one, the other being Scratch McNasty.

On several other forums I am known as Scout Master. Obviously declaring my extreme affection for Scouting. When I found you friends, I figured I would display my Own proud Scottish Highland name and Clan. I was born Matthew Ross but to all who know me I am Matty Ross

I just used my first name and the first 5 letters of my last name - I know, not very original. It matches one of my email addresses.
I supposed I could have used KiltedTrooper (I own and wear Stormtrooper armor) but some one else on another board I belong to uses it, so I didn't want to use it here.
I'll have to think of something better in my free time. That should be around 2067 when I'm over 100.

Monkey@Arms (now THERE'S a handle that must have a story behind it!) asked me when he was in SoCal for kilt night: Are there really 6 other "Sydnie"s on the forum?
Nope. I suspect I'm the first and only. But I am the proud, original owner of a first-generation Mazda RX-7 -- zoom zoom! When I got online and other sites began telling me I wasn't the first Sydnie to register, I hit on Sydnie7 and have stuck with it.
Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].

I use my initials JRB. My name is Jay Barron. My first name is in my signature at the bottom of all my posts but a lot of people on the board still refer to me as 'JRB'. I'm aware that it's not very imaginative.

I almost feel silly explaining mine, as I figure it's kinda obvious -- but nevertheless I've been told by some that they don't know what it means so here goes:
CDN = Canadian (the standard abbreviation used internationally) because "Canadian" is a little long.
Sushi - well, you gotta be living under a rock if you don't know what sushi is and where it comes from...
The mashup of Canadian Sushi happened shortly after my wife and I moved to Japan. I was looking for a domain name to register in order to set up some online photo albums and a Blog and whatnot so that we could better keep in touch with friends and family back home and I wanted something to represent both our current situation of living in the Far East but also indicative of our origin and figured that people don't generally associate sushi as being Canadian -- it's rather out of place -- just like us. So, Bob's your uncle...
I then started using either CDNSushi or CanadianSushi as a login here and there, and it's just developed into the de facto name I tend to use when signing up for online stuff.

I use my first name and the first three letters of my last name. I didn't use my whole last name because spelling it out is a bit tedious. Using a name other than my own is just not my style. I like being me.
