    Nice that you were able to have to have photos of your first kilted experience. Did the groom tuck his sgian behind his belt? That is the first time I've ever seen that, perhaps you should introduce him to the forum.

    Actually, the groom had the traditional one in his sock, the one you see was a stand in for the family sword, given to him by the brides parents. We looked for a calvelry saber, but at $300 per they wanted something a touch more affordable. This one will go in a shadow box with the brides tartan sash and the hand made devotional candles.

    I'm guessing your kilt is from Frugal Corner. It has that "fluorescent" quality I notice in mine.

    Actually a sample out of Pakistan, but I would not be suprised if the material is the same. Sure beat the 6-12 week wait out of Scotland, didna know that there we so many local kilters, only found this site after I bought the kilt.
