The black and red is totally the best for the formal, the next, doff of the sword to Panache, is the green. From what I have seen on these boards, you can absolutely count on Jamie's taste; it is in a word exquisite, Peacock feathers be damned!

Are the hose you are wearing in the very first picture black? If so, I would also wear those to the second ball. Wearing the same color jacket and hose provides a more balanced look.
