    Something to be wary of

I was talking to a colleague when my mobile phone buzzed. My colleague was horrified when I took the mobile out of my sporran to check who it was. According to my colleague's sister, a doctor, mobile phones should not be kept in close proximity to your genitals. There's no current evidence to suggest that mobile phones cause problems, but she's insisting that it's better to be safe than sorry. That's a valid point.

There's only one problem. Where am I going to keep my phone now?

I have a clip hanger attached to my cell phone. It is a hook that attaches to the phone so that it hangs from my belt loop or anything else you want to hang it on. The clip hanger makes it easy to quickly answer. You can get this item at www.cliphanger.com. The only problem is some people don't like a cell phone hanging from the kilt since the kilt is traditional highland dress and a cell phone is modern. I like it however and I don't have to dig around in my sporran for my phone.

    Hands free

I said this back when brain cancer scares made everyone get hands-free kits.

Why, if one believes that this device can cook someone's brain through their skull, do they not think about it frying their gonads through the thin cotton lining of their pockets?

To answer the actual question. The top of one's sock is a good place to keep useful tools.

I have one of those for exactly the reason in discussion. I love it.

    No Offense Intended Guys, BUT

When speaking to someone, one should not answer, or check, their cell phone unless (1) they are the President of the United States and are expecting an imminent declaration of war by a hostile power, or (2) an obstetrician on call for an extremely difficult delivery, and even that may be borderline.

People who do check their cell phone at every beep or quiver deserve to have their private bits glow in the dark-- not that that is apt to happen. If you don't like the look of the phone on your belt, clip it to the inside of your kilt where, like a detective's pistol, it will accessible but unobtrusive.

This is a myth. There is more logic and fact to dis-prove it than to prove it. If you just want to have fun with it though, tell her radiation doesn't effect big brass objects

Like they said, there is no evidence. Remember back when waves form cell phones gave you brain cancer? Yeah, that's false. So I think I'll take my chances...
