Walking Sticks

Every once in a while someone on the site inspires me, such has it been with Panache and his collection of walking/hiking sticks. I was therefore very glad to find an elegant cane/walking stick on ebay. Once I saw it I decided to just go ahead and hit the buy it now button, I've lost out to a few others on something like this. It arrived today and I hastily took these photos.

I like the 'head' on that. Does it have a metal or rubber tip?
Looks like it might have some heft to it, and provide more than adequate protection from stray dogs & pickpockets

It has a siver tip with a rubber end, I'll get a shot of it when I get home, and yes it does have some heft to it but not too much.
