Thanks again to Panache and the F-H.C.A.G. for being such fabulous hosts. The weekend was wonderful, and I can't wait to see them join in the dancing at Asilomar next year.
I can't imagine a better honeymoon or a better spouse with whom to share it.

Next time you're out, let Me know and I'll join you for an Aquarium trip!....That pic of diane in the surf is probably at the beach out beyond the Asilomar Convention center....MIGHTY big surf, right there!
You both look great....

It was a great pleasure to meet you both both in person.
We hope someday to join you at the Asilomar workshops and balls (though it looks like it will again be on Halloween next year! -sigh )
Cheers

Yeah, what he said.
Seriously, I had such a great time visiting with you both, I feel like we've been friends for years and I am very sad you don't live next door!
We'll do it again next year at least.

I'm afraid, as long as Asilomar is on Halloween weekend, we have to be home with the kids.
Once they no longer enjoy our company (in about 7-8 years) we'll be able to go.
Be well,
Star

Me too - but I'm not too sure about the livestock!

Jamie has SNAKES? How neat! My buddy back home in my teenage years kept snakes, they loved me - and vice-versa. We used to freak out the neighbors strolling over to the fence to chat when a snake would emerge from the collar of my T-shirt. (Hey, I wasn't always a good boy)

Yes, Alan, that's exactly where I was. The sea was quite high, and the weather was stormy the night before, but I was just happy to see some sun before I came back to freezing Idaho.
I agree with Star, it felt like visiting with old friends to me too. I know kiddos can make holiday plans complicated. Halloween was a big deal for me when I was that age. Obviously I need to send Bruce Herbold a Strongly Worded Email and let him know what I think about his choice of dates. :P

Thanks for all the comments. It really was a fantastic weekend and we both had a lot of fun.
Plus, I realised I actually kinda like California. (Aside from some of the drivers.)
Now, I've recovered just enough to be having a late guy Fawkes night celebration tomorrow!
