Sarasota, FL Irish Festival
Check out Hurley's Sarasota Irish Festival coming up in just a few weeks, Nov. 21 - 22.
The acts look pretty good and there are more being added. The City of Sarasota Pipe and Drum band is slated to play there as well.
Any Florida X-Markers able to make it?

I'd love to; but it's the same weekend as our hometown Dunedin Celtic Festival.

That's right... I'd totally forgotten they were on the same weekend!
Though it looks like the Dunedin Festival is the 22nd only... so... Saturday the 21st would still be open for down here...

There's a ton going on that weekend! Hurley's Irish Festival the 21st and 22nd in Sarasota, the Sarasota Medieval Fair going on (on the same property!) the 22nd and 23rd, and the Dunedin Festival is the 22nd.
I just noticed that my dates in my other post above were screwed up; maybe I was tanked at the time...

Ok, plan of action: Irish fest friday, Celtic Fest Saturday and Medevil fair Sunday!!
Wish I could afford a kilt for them, but ah well. Wife made me promise not to buy one before Moomas.

I'll be in Dunedin. That's too much time away from home to make both events.

I am fortunate in living in between all of them.

Downix, where are you located?
The Irish Fest and Medieval Fair are literally right around the corner from my place.

Southern side of clearwater. Technically closer to Dunedin, but to get to Sarasota I just take the skyway down, while for Dunedin i have to navigate the jam that is 19. So takes the same amount of time roundabouts.
