I Hate to Disagree but the big city's are more Liberal minded, In Toronto Nobody bats an eyelid when i'm kilted but where i live the same is not true.

For me, I get my best thumbs up from "tough guys." Think they respect cajones.

When you get your first kit take your "friend" to the closest shopping mall and tell him to walk about 15 or 20 paces behind you and observe the reactions of women. He'll soon beg you to tell him how to get one for himself.

And two kilties together double the power of the "babe magnet."

<chuckle> I was about to point that out! Much of the back country from there to here (SC) was settled by Scots and their descendents.

Sometimes when I listen to my Fred Morrison reelpipe CDs, I can't help but hear/see a fiddle in m'heid. So much bluegrass and early country music is undeniably Celtic at its roots.
