MacRae reviews - post 'em if you got 'em
I got my SWK MacRae today and put it on immediately. It's really nice! The colors are really subdued, but the tartan is still eye-catching. I noticed the material is a bit different than what SWK used a few years ago, a bit more coarse, but it's still a wonderful kilt -- pretty par for SWK. It also came with matching tartan flashes, which I love. I don't have any photos yet, but I'm sure you'll see a few popping up in the next few days.
I also ordered a leather sporran strap from them. I now have 4 from SWK and they are wonderful. They're a really great alternative to chains and look good.

Congratulations. Um, perhaps you should describe the kilt's colors since they need pictures to believe...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I'm also interested in seeing the pics as my maternal grandmother was a McRae. My great-grandfather was Duncan McRae. MacRae is a possible choice for me.
BTW, my wife was born and grew up in Beloit. I lived in Beloit for four years (long enough to get married.) We met at Rock County Airport where we were both taking flying lessons. Her mother operated the airport restaurant at that time.
