Welcome from another A'villian!
Local pub? Jack of the Wood? Don't miss the Celtic jam sessions there every Sunday evening, 5-9. I'm usually there. You can't miss me...I'm the guy in the kilt...

Yess! Another A'villian in the house. Yep... Jack Of The Wood for sure. My favorite pub in town. You know, I rarely get out there on Sundays, but I have several friends who play in the sessions a lot. I'm sure you know who Billy Jackson is... the world-renowned harpist? I'll stay in touch and we'll represent the kilt one of these weekends. Are there any more of us in Asheville?

In Asheville proper there are lots of other kilties, but only one other on XMarks that I'm aware of, now that Barclay has moved to SC. A few are located close enough that they show up at Jack's now and then. Shaun ("thatcelticband") and his lovely wife show up occasionally, but they are really busy on the weekends.

A hearty welcome from the foothills of our fair state.
Just down the road about hour a way by way of Lake Lure.
I love Jacks and dirty Jacks too.
I think it might be time for another Kilt night.
It is always good to see another Carolinian join the rabble.

Just say the word, Nelson! We're going to get our second snow of the year tonight, so kilt night weather is definitely here.
