Good riddance to bad rubbish!
It's a good thing you have another gig, but it sounds like it would have been worth inventing one if you didn't.

I think we might be overlooking someone. While it is a very funny story, there is a man about to marry this "ladies" daughter. And since they were looking for a piper, its a good chance the groom will be kilted. Especially since the MOB was wanting the piper to wear the family tartan. I think we owe this gentleman a moment of silence to his bravery.

Here's hoping that the new couple will be living far far far far far from home.

I love your way of putting it. Many, many thanks.

If someone is determined to be difficult at a wedding, it's rarely the bride - in spite of what the Bridezillas TV series depict.
If the producers of Bridezillas would like to create a series that frightens the bejabbers outta viewers, they should consider one about MOB's.
Just hope I'm done with this MOB. Didn't anticipate she'd be like a booger that you can't thump off.
Oh well, life happens.
Slan yall,
steve

Fortunately, the MOB at my wedding was a Cajun -- she was just waiting for the bar to open and the dancing to start!

I sent a pic of the tartan to my wife, who e-mailed back, "That tartan has to be from the Elle Wood collection."

Now that's my kind of woman.
