XMTSAS Saltire
I have just found this, like many others, and after reading about 50 posts or more I am quite excited. I am a new member and I did not see any NC kilted reply so I will. The XMTSAS Saltire is welcome down here and I will transport it around if others wish to sign the log.
PS This looks like the start of an EPIC adventure. I think this need a song.

Status Report Requested!
There has been no report from the Saltire in several days and the Nor Cal Rabble is getting worried.
We hope to hear news soon and make the request that she return home by Friday January 16th for our Burns Night Supper the next evening.
Fear not, the very next Monday she will head out again for more adventures, I'm pretty sure she will start out toward the Southwest this time round.
Cheers

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Scully.
I guess it's the fate of us regimental rookies to run about, perpetually 2 days late & a dollar short, chasing the trail of all the really FUN stuff!
Ah well; from way back in the queue I am hereby shouting out a bid for a stopover from the Saltire in quixotic li'l Bellows Falls, "the Venice of Vermont", hometown of the 19th-century world's wealthiest woman, site of the first canal built in the US, weekend hang-out for Solzhenitsyn's kids & Ken Burns, current patrol-beat for writer/cop Archer Mayor, and famous for our annual Roots On The River folk & blues concert.
Should such an honor be granted, I will arrange for the Saltire to be moored to the brass weathervane atop our 4-story clock tower, an iconic edifice whose street level theatre/auditorium has hosted such celebrities as Sarah Bernhart, Theodore Roosevelt & Harry Houdini.
I shall also arrange for the Saltire to be honored with multiple, photographed toasts at PK's Pub, renowned for pouring the finest pint of Guinness between Boston & Montreal.
There . . let's see Kyoto or Dubai match them apples!
