No, no, no! I don't think that vets stop with a little snip and disconnected plumbing! Our dog and cat ended up with missing parts! Now you are making me wince!

Ouch.
That's all I've got to say.
Ouch.

Ah, the "no-scalpel" snip is the only way to go. No stitches, very little pain, quick recovery. I used a couple of bags of peas and a couple Tylenol for the next day - that was it. I was riding a bike within a week.
But, I feel for you, man. That's no place to see blood!

Please go and put your feet up. I had mine 17 years ago and my wife took me, on the way back we stopped by her sisters place. Of course I was feeling fine (still numb) but really dumb as the freezing started to come out I said we should go home. Long story short I was off work for a week and the Bhoys were now the size of grapefruits.

To top it all off the following morning I went kilted to my scheduled Dr’s appointment and the doc said, ah you’ll be fine you are a big boy; the stitches would have fallen out eventually. ![Shocked](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
Oh and if FHCAG were to do the procedure she has the option of leaving the useless appendages in tact on pets unless the customer chooses otherwise to have them removed.

Just remember, I believe that in our case, they aren't useless!
