Action Figures
I was wandering around Walmart last night and saw these guys on the shelf:

Out of there packaging they remind me of:

who looks quite similar when he "goes Primal" ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
If that is what we are supposed to look like in a kilt I guess I had better start getting to the gym and working out

I agree. I want one, too. (And yeah... That came out several shades of wrong.)

Bizarre. I wonder what trend the manufacturers were on to that led them to think there is a market for these? I see future generations of kids wearing six packs, beards and kilts with shin-high boots because it takes them back to their childhood.
I wonder if Army recruitment benefited from action man? Who were YOUR heros as a kid?
I had two - Banacek (and a few folks will tell you I take my dress code from him still (not that he ever wore a kilt that is)) mainly for the idea of rowing in the early morning mist, and MASH - I'd have been Trapper or Hawkeye only my grades weren't good enough but now I'm definitely Fr Mulcahey!
Graham.

I bought a 12" G.I. Joe and the Action Man's Argyll and Sutherland Regimental uniform (complete with gumment kilt) and am giving it to a piper buddy for Xmas.

This reminds me of a posing routine done by a friend of mine -- he's my diet coach when I do competitive bodybuilding.
Here's a link to a video of his routine:
