I am going to go with Jock on this one, though the only wing collared shirts I have worn have had the pleats; if I was going to purchase one it would be one with the flat bib front. Just looks sharper in my opinion. Nothing incorrect about the pleated one, though.
By the way is there some difference between pique and marcella or is it a case of two names for the same fabric?
In fact now that I think of it, it looks the same as the "royale oxford" of the white dress shirt I have, the right french cuff of which can be seen in my avatar.
