Sounds like a terrific night! Good on ya.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

Great story, you are truly an ambassador for the kilt.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

Well, guys, there's more. When I got to work today, I had many people comment on the kilt. I don't know how many times I have been aked about the kilt. Even the president of the parent company waved at me this morning. Man I wish I could wear a kilt to work. One guy stopped me in the hall and asked if I was the guy wearing the kilt. I have spent more time talking about the kilt. I must spend more time actually working.
The Power of the Kilt.

When company dress codes don't permit kilt wearing as a norm it means that in those situations where you do have a choice can make a real impression!
And who knows it might soften attitudes for more work wear opportunities!

I've worn a kilt both this year, and last year, to our Christmas galas. Each time, our CEO makes a beeline right for me to shake my hand, and last year made a point of introducing me to his wife ( ). I always tell him that SOMEONE need to stand out in such a large crowd...

I can't believe the response I have gotten from wearing the kilt to the party. I was walking thru the building today and got the thumbs up from two people I had never seen before. It just keeps getting better.
