Nice photo. You and Jamie have a lovely family.
Sounds like the magic of the Nutcracker really came alive for your family.
Merry Christmas to all of you.

It was magical.
And the performance was amazing!
What a wonderful day!
Yes, Nutcracker is the gateway ballet for many people. My first time was to see Peter Martins and Suzanne Farrell in something by Balanchine I don't recall what - I think "Stars and Stripes." But if you ever get the itch to go again, a Balanchine work is the next best stop ("Apollo" is a classic). There's something about the purity and precision of his work that makes me well up every time - it's as if the dance was already there, perfect and whole, waiting for him to pluck it out of the air and be paired with the music.
Your family photo is great! Thanks for sharing your day with us.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Rex.

It's wonderful that you were able to go to the Nutcracker even if it was a day late, I'm glad that you were able to attend. A very Merry Christmas to you both and also to Xena and Sinbad.

I don't have anything to beat your story, FHCAG, but I have several examples of how people have been generous to me in the last two days.
I found a twenty on the floor in the liquor store on the 23rd. No, I didn't keep it, but the owner of the store counted his money and said he had dropped it himself, and then he gave me a lottery ticket as a reward.
On the 24th we went to pick up a toolbox that my wife had ordered for me online as an Xmas present. They didn't have it in stock, even though the system said they did, and to my surprise they upgraded me to a better one. Then, later on Xmas Eve we went out to see Twilight, and the clerk insisted he wouldn't let me pay full price for our 15 year old son, even though it's full price at age 13.
The Xmas spirit is alive and well. Now I must go or Father Xmas won't stop by!
Have a very merry Xmas and a prosperous new year!

From our family to yours Merry Christmas Jamie, Starr, Sinbad and Xena. What a great manager to do that for your family on Christmas Eve. My daughter's dance school performed the Nutcracker last weekend. I hope you enjoyed your performance as much as my wife and I enjoyed ours.
