The wife and I will be attending a black tie event, the first time I've ever done anything like that (let me emphasize: EVER! Big big step into the civilized world for this ghetto boy!!!) Will be in my in my MacLaren Ancient and PC for the festivities. Sorry to report I will be wearing a cheater bow tie, but you have to learn to crawl before you walk right?
The following day I will be likely sporting said MacLaren to the Mummer's parade. Seriously, if you've never been... a trip to Philly on new year's would be worth it. One thing is certain- normally I'm the one everyone looks at cause I'm dressed in an "unusual" outfit (to many anyway). With all the feathers and colors and what not, that will NOT be the case on Thursday!!!
To all those working, I've been there and done that. It's rough. I'll raise one for you.

Wearing the Macleod to Church. Will be the wool and not the acrylic because there will be a very large flame. At the stroke of midnight we throw Christmas trees on a small fire. Let me tell you when you throw 12 trees on at one time. The flames reach an impressive Height and heat.

I agree with that, but I'm past being willing to deal with New Year's Eve drivers, so I'll be kilted ar home as usual.
For all of you, and especially you who work holidays to keep civilization working for the rest of us, and especially all who work to keep us safe, Thank You!, best wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous NewYear!

Well, working at the hospital that day. So no kilt there. But will probably take one with me to change into, so I can party with confidence.
