The Twilight Zone
One of the TV shows that enthralled me growing up was The Twilight Zone. The SciFi channel is running a marathon of the show, today.
The current show has an actor that looks like a young Robert Redford. For a good reason it’s him!
Oh my gosh, I think I just saw a past Presidential candiate as an actor on the same episode!

Keep an eye out for Death Ship and Miniature.
Those are two of my favorites.

Hocus-Pocus and Frisby
This is a trip that memory lane. Now the episode Hocus-Pocus and Frisby has the actor Andy Devine on with the actor that played Floyd in the Andy Griffith Show.

Kilt in Twilight Zone
Don't know the episode, but I noticed if you run this one to the VERY end there is a scene with a piper. (It may be all the episodes end with this scene.) Oh boy kilts on Twilight Zone. Now what was I planning to do today?

Nightmare at 20,000 Feet was always one of my favourites as was The Silence. I always loved the Twilight Zone.

Did anyone ever watch "Third Rock from the Sun", the comedy series about aliens researching earth?
The star, John Lithgow, is visited by guest star William Shatner. John Lithgow reprised William Shatner's story in "Twilight Zone: The Movie."
When John's character asks Bill's character how his flight was, Bill comments on the troubles his flight had. John replies that the same thing happened to him, in obvious reference to the Twilight Zone stories.
Sally Solomon: So how was your trip, sir?
The Big Giant Head (played by William Shatner): Horrifying, at first. I looked out the window and... I saw something on the side of the plane.
Dr. Dick Solomon (played by john Lithgow): The same thing happened to me!

I love TZ and usually watch those marathons, but right now I'm enjoying a program on the Travel Channel about fried foods around the US. They've shown eateries that are famous for fried chicken and turkey, chicken-fried steak and bacon (heart attack on a plate!), pickles, deep-fried burgers and hot dogs ... and I just know they're gonna get around to fried Twinkies before the hour is up!
